The Nosara Retreat is located near one of Costa Ricas best protected wildlife preserves, and is situated on two acres of lush tropical gardens and jungle. An ideal secluded, inspirational setting to hold your retreat. The pavilion is an open air 25 x 35 foot wooden structure that works comfortably for 20 participants for yoga, and can hold more for other activities. Smaller groups can meet on verandas, balconies and shady backyard table to avoid the heat of the afternoon.
Looking out, you are surrounded by magical green flora, flowers and abundant nature. The setting is pristine and quiet, the air, clean and fresh. The ocean roar becomes more audible during high tide. Bird songs, butterflies, and an occasional humming bird contribute to the secluded and inspirational atmosphere of the location, an ideal spot for workshops, educational courses, events and celebrations.
Exceptional healthy food is prepared by experienced staff is served buffet style. Food can be vegetarian, raw or including fish, chicken and meat according to your preferences.
In between sessions, a four minute walk brings you to the secluded Pelada Beach, with its fine white sand and pristine, clear warm tropical water. You can go for a swim, or walk for miles along the quiet, unspoiled beaches of Nosara - observing beautiful shells, magical rock formations, birds, breaking waves, surf, and gentle tide pools. Back at the retreat, relax in a hammock, watch the monkeys and listen to the birds.
We provide seven charming rooms with single, double and triple occupancy all with fans and hot water. We can accommodate 14 people double occupancy or 16 people triple occupancy.
